A lover of Gothic literature, history, eerie tales, and forgotten cities, Anna’s pen dances between fantasy and dark academia, drawing inspiration from classical music, European ruins, and dreams that don't fade with daylight.

When not writing about tortured vampires and haunted empires, Anna can be found sipping Pinot Grigio with a notebook in hand, roaming the wilds of forgotten towns, or reading Herodotus for fun (yes, really).

I firmly believe the dead have better stories.

A Writer’s Evening: Tea, Cats, and Creating Atmosphere

  Good evening my lovely friends, come in, ooh isn’t it just dark out there, wet, windy and beautifully eerie? What can I get you? Tea, lumpy cappuccino, a glass of wine perhaps? I hope that you had a lovely weekend, I’ve been curled up with Lady Cora Cat on my lap and a book in my paw, but I have been contemplative too. Why the reflective mood? Well, it was a conversation with a friend on Friday night. A simple question out on the balcony led me here. The question: What does a writer’s evening entail? Twilight Whispers: Entering the Writing Sanctum   I am a chronic insomniac, and my writing takes place at all hours. There isn’t really a set time… I write when the characters decide that I need to transcribe their story onto the page. Countdown to Peo's release

  The countdown has begun!!! Hello from the Miltiverse. The countdown has begun. I have meant to post before this but I had a personal loss, my beloved muse and familiar, Catsby crossed the rainbow bridge last week and it still hurts. Tempus Mori is the 5th book in the epic Tempus Militibus fantasy series. This one is very close to my heart because it took a long time to not just write but from the moment that I first conceptualised the idea of the Tempus Militibus.  I started writing the first book in the series back in 2016. gosh when you say it like that, it is hard to believe that I wrote the first draft nine years ago of the very first book. But Peo was born long before then. I first saw him when I was in Ariminum many many centuries ago!!!
