The Priest, The Wolf, and The Nun

Good evening, my dark academic friends. Let’s pour a glass of wine, Pinot Grigio, perhaps? What a week we have ahead, the Buck Moon on Thursday, and I have a little surprise brewing for you, my darlings. But more on that later.

Tonight, I’m treating you to a glimpse into some of the characters of the Tempus Militibus series but not the main guys, though heaven help my haunted heart, how could I not talk about them! No, tonight, I want to introduce those who give our vampire warriors a hard time, provoke deep and meaningful conversations, and have almost destroyed a Militibus officer.

Picture this, you’re sitting at home, enjoying a rare moment to read, when there’s a knock on the door. In walk two very handsome, very imposing undead vampires. What do you do? That, my friends, is how our first character met the Tempus Militibus.

The Priest:
Father Tom O’Hara is a kindly old soul working among the forgotten residents of LA’s Skid Row. Raised on a dairy farm in the Midlands of Ireland, Tom has witnessed hardship and holds fast to a deep, unshakable faith. He acquires an old hotel with a dark past, where supernatural events begin to stir. When he discovers the true nature of the Tempus Militibus, he is both fearful and curious. An unlikely friendship is born and one that sees this compassionate priest assisting the warriors in their investigations.

The Wolf:
Meet Dimitri, a werewolf from the Sixth Dimension, and the home of the Tempus Militibus Elite warriors. A hustler with a roguish charm, Dimitri comes from an influential family but prefers the wild side of life in LA, ruling his pack with fierce loyalty. He often feeds the Militibus information, which is not always accurate, and usually with a side hustle that ruffles some feathers, especially the Jarl’s.

 The Nun:

Sister Angelica, or “Adeline” as the Jarl affectionately calls her, is sweet, innocent, and deeply devoted. Beloved by the hotel residents and soup kitchen patrons alike, she takes her vows seriously, that is until she meets Lanny Lancnut, the Viking Jarl and Tempus Militibus second in command. Sparks fly, and everything she believed in is thrown into question. Can Adeline resist the vampire who’s turned her world upside down?

The Tempus Militibus:
Enter our heroes, the Tempus Militibus vampires, Elite warriors from the Sixth Dimension protecting the mortal realm from darker forces. General Luca Meridian, a Roman general; Jarl Lanny Lancnut, a Viking with a temper; Bjorn Azelason, a Viking berserker; and Peo Satimus, a Roman praetorian. Together, they patrol the LA Fourth Division. These are their stories that we leave here….at least for now.

Because, my gothic friends, at the full moon, the brothers from Europe shall rise. I look forward to introducing you to the European Tempus Militibus.

Ad lunam plenam, fratres ex Europa surgent.

Thank you for reading, my darlings.
Luv yas,
ADM.

P.S. For all of you lovely souls: at the rise of the Buck Moon (10–13 July), all five Tempus Militibus eBooks will be at a red-hot reduced price.
